On the palate, the tartness of the fruit comes through and strawberries are predominant as well as dried thyme and pomegranate. This wine of 100% syrah would be perfect with cured meats and hard cheeses on a charcuterie board or grilled vegetables finished with crumbled feta and a drizzle of balsamic reduction.
